Shall I bring someone to the trial with me?
We advise you come alone for your hair and makeup trial. There is many reasons why we recommend this, firstly, we are a very busy studio with many clients coming for scheduled appointments, secondly, being able to talk to our brides one on one, looking at visuals and chatting about styles etc is carried out much more effectively when there isn’t any input from other people. Although we appreciate that people mean well with advice and opinions for certain looks & styles, this can often confuse and overwhelm brides.
How do I come prepared for my Trial?
Come to your bridal trial as if it is the morning of your wedding. This means clean skin, with no makeup on, and freshly washed hair. We recommend using a Firm Hold Mouse after washing and before drying your hair as soft hair is often tricky to work with when styling. Also bring along any hair accessories you may be using so you can see the finished result. If you are unsure about accessories, don’t worry, we can advise on what will work best.
Should I trial my wedding hair and makeup?
We recommend 6 weeks before the big day. This allows for any changes in dresses, styles, locations & wedding party numbers. It also enables enough time for any tips or suggestions we may offer you to help you achieve your final wedding look. This may include hair cuts and colours or skin care.
How long are Bridal makeup trials?
Usually, they last around 1.5hrs.
Is there onsite parking?
There is a car park situated across the road from our studio. Head towards the Gosforth Hotel pub on Gosforth High Street. There is street parking available nearby for 30p per hour.
Do I need to make an appointment or can I walk in?
We work by appointment only for all services. You can walk in to book, but unfortunately walk-in appointments aren’t available.
Do you offer gift cards/Vouchers?
Yes we offer gift cards to be purchased, which can be redeemed on all treatments.
What is your cancellation policy?
The Artist reserves the right to terminate this contract immediately for any breach of terms, and the contract will become void and all monies given are non-refundable. This booking arrangement cannot be changed after the Artist/s arrives for the appointment. Appointments cancelled before the day of the occasion will not be eligible for a refund on deposits. If the Artist cancels this agreement for a reason other than breach at any time or is unable to perform the Services for any reason and is unable to find a replacement Artist, the deposit paid will be fully refunded within two weeks. Client agrees that the refund of 100% of the deposit is the only liability to the Artist, employees and agents.
Can you accommodate special requests?
Yes, depending on realistic options, we can tailor treatments to individuals.
